Every year we donate tens of thousands of dollars in bakery items and gift certificates to local non-profits to aid in their fundraising efforts. We wanted to highlight some of the events at which you will see or have seen us! Mark your calendars, and we’ll see you there!

Pink Ribbon Run

Oct. 2, 2010–
Downtown Cedar Falls
Run or walk in this annual 5K and enjoy a Pink Ribbon Bagel after the run. All proceeds from this run benefit the Beyond Pink TEAM, our Pink Ribbon Bagel partner in the Cedar Valley. Remember 25 cents from every Pink Ribbon Bagel sold in October at our Waterloo and Cedar Falls Panera Bread locations will go to the Beyond Pink TEAM.

Especially for You Race
Oct. 10, 2010–
Cedar Rapids
Run or walk in this 5K event that starts and ends at Mercy Medical Center near Downtown Cedar Rapids. We'll be there with our Pink Ribbon Bagels at the finish line! All proceeds go to benefit the Especially for you Fund. Remember 25 cents from every Pink Ribbon Bagel sold in October at our Cedar Rapids Panera Bread bakery-cafes will go to the Especially for You Fund.

Race for the Cure
Oct. 23, 2010–
State of Iowa Capital
Run or walk in this 5K run and walk that draws nearly 24,000 participants to the State of Iowa Capital grounds in Downtown Des Moines. We'll be there with samples of our Pink Ribbon Bagels! All proceeds go to benefit the Des Moines Affiliate of the Susan G. Komen For a Cure Foundation. Remember 25 cents from every Pink Ribbon Bagel sold in October at our Central Iowa Panera Bread bakery-cafes will go to the support the Susan G. Komen Foundation locally.

Movin' For McAuley

Congratulations! Over 18,000 was raised for the programs of the Catherine McAuley Center!

Movin’ for McAuley is an annual mall walk and family expo to raise funds for the Catherine McAuley Center’s (CMC) Adult Basic Education Program and Transitional Housing Program.
This is an event for the whole family! Visit our Family Expo where various non-profit agencies and businesses will be available to discuss the services they provide to the community and how to become involved. Also, a variety of games, activities and inflatable playhouses will be available for children and all participants will enjoy refreshments courtesy of Panera Bread. Put on your walking shoes and get ready for a morning full of fun!
